SENTENCING MEMORANDUM

They say that he was a nice fellow.
Yes. They say he's honest, trustworthy,
and consistent too.
They say he is dedicated to children.
Is that why he chose to work with the Headstart program before he came here?
His love of children?
... Well, as Bob Mickus said about him,
"Anyone can make a mistake."
At least he successfully managed a $15
million dollar construction project without getting caught stealing and
embezzling and committing fraud at the Mille Lacs Academy.
$15 million? Wait.. Didn't the city
council tell us it was a $18 million dollar project?
... Well, what's a few million on a
project this size?
